Showcasing Rob Beale Limited's Temporary Facilities in a Glossy Brochure

Rob Beale Ltd is a well established company offering liquid waste management with a fast and friendly service. They cover a wide area from their base on the Dorset / Wiltshire border using a fleet of 10 modern vehicles. As part of their service, they offer a range of temporary facilities.

The range of shower, toilet, welfare and site facilities are specifically designed to cater for a range of outdoor venues from weddings to large scale concerts and events. Their product range encompasses single luxury toilet and shower hire all the way up to multiple units and larger refrigerated trailer hire. Although Rob Beale Ltd has an extensive web presence, it was felt a brochure could be an effective marketing tool to target businesses in the local area and beyond.

Rob Beale Ltd asked Rank Your Domain to handle the production of an A4 brochure to include onsite photography, layout and printing. While the brochure needed to showcase the offerings, it was also vital that we demonstrate that Rob Beale Ltd is a great company to do business with.

The Shoot

With the advanced weather report giving a good clear indication of fair weather and blue skies, Rank Your Domain arranged a day to photograph all facilities, using only high-quality cameras and lenses set out to achieve a range of images for the brochure.

Having photography created on one day in one environment with the same camera creates a good, unified approach to images so that they remain consistently sized with exposures and white balance matching across all shots. This approach is preferable to more than one visit with more than one type of camera which could result in a mix of stylistic approaches and differing weather. Rob Beale Ltd arranged to have all the facilities moved into the same locale to ensure a further level of consistency. The images were photographed with minimum fuss by Jack and Sammy, Rank Your Domain photographers.

Post Production

On completion, the results were returned to our design team who quickly set about creating pages according to each facility. Using the client’s brand colours and chosen font, the team worked on the images in Adobe Photoshop before importing them into Adobe InDesign to create the layouts to complete the project. Once the brochure was approved, we sent the master PDF file to our trusted printers for an initial run of 500 copies.

Once again Rank Your Domain were truly outstanding from start to finish on our latest project. From the photography to the printing, they far exceeded our expectations and for the first time in 30 years we have a brochure we can be proud of.
