The spring and summer months have been extremely busy at Rank Your Domain, and we are proud to say that our team has grown again! There are also a number of positions still available across our offices in Bristol, Southampton, and Salisbury, for those on the lookout for a new challenge.
Since March, we have welcomed seventeen new starters, with more new faces due to arrive as the weeks go by. Many of our new team have now settled into the Rank Your Domain family and are helping us to drive the business forward.
With our headcount now hitting the eighty mark, we thought we would take the time to introduce as many new starters as we can. We are excited to see their careers progress at Rank Your Domain. Read on to learn more about a few of the people who have recently joined us.
We are delighted to welcome Charlotte to the Southampton office! She has joined the Digital Marketing Team and brings her content writing, visual art, and social media skills to the table. When Charlotte isn’t working hard on clients’ social media, writing content, or her ongoing Master's Degree, she enjoys watching Rugby and playing Dungeons and Dragons!

Rebecca also recently joined the Digital Marketing Team in Southampton. Her skillset includes content writing, social media management, and SEO. With a BA in Creative Writing, she joined the team to provide our clients with content creation and creative social media posts. Outside work, Rebecca enjoys Netflix binges and gaming on Twitch alongside writing horror novels!

Rounding off our new Digital Team recruits is Natasa, who joins us as a Digital Marketing Executive and will be based in Bristol. As a huge cat lover with three at home, we hope Natasa gets to fulfil her dream of marketing for a pet store or veterinary surgery. Focusing on social media and content creation, Natasa will also be applying her skills to SEO and paid advertising.

Junior Web Developer Amy Hacker recently joined our Web Development Team and is already feeling a part of the crew and hopes her name (A. Hacker) doesn’t cause problems down the line! She will be helping the team develop secure and optimised websites for a variety of clients operating across numerous sectors.

Tim is our new Software Developer, joining the Salisbury team. Tim is not only a great developer but also enjoys developing his cooking skills at home. We hope he tells us when he perfects his homemade pasta because we’d love to try it!

We recently bolstered our .NET Team with the addition of Software Developer, Ashley, who has settled into the team well. When he isn’t building software applications using the Microsoft .NET platform, Ash is thinking about how to eventually cover one side of his body entirely in ink, adding to his extensive tattoo collection.
“I’ve settled into the team really well. My colleagues are very friendly, and I’ve enjoyed learning new aspects of the job. Plus the pool table is a major bonus for lunchtimes!”
We are pleased to welcome Ed, one of our new Project Managers, to the Salisbury office. Ed is a local celebrity as he has been on TV, participating in the BBC Quiz show Eggheads, where his team managed to beat two of them! Maybe he will get the opportunity to test his knowledge again, perhaps against some of the Rank Your Domain eggheads during our next quiz.

Junior Software Developer Charlie is already enjoying the fast-paced environment and being part of the supportive Development Team, who are on hand to help with their expert knowledge. Outside of work, Charlie spends his weekends riding and maintaining his motorcycle and loves getting outside in the fresh air to appreciate the outdoors.

Junior Test Analyst Michelle has been with us for a couple of months so far and has enjoyed the support and helpfulness of her team. Since Michelle has been working from home, she cannot wait to finally meet everyone in person at the Bristol office! Outside work, Michelle is an avid American Football player of three years!

Of course, we’d love to tell you in greater detail about all of our new starters but there has been plenty of work to do! Keep an eye out for some more new faces in our latest news articles, on our Meet the Team page, and when we post about some of our upcoming social events.
Some additional new members at the time of writing include Gemma Hughes, our new Project Manager based down in Bristol, and Shyam Ghedia, our Compliance Test Analyst. We have also welcomed Web Developers Peter Applebee and Elliot Dickerson, and a new member of the Digital Marketing Team, Ceilidh Tesluk.
We say at the time of writing because at Rank Your Domain, we have no plans to slow down anytime soon.

Introducing new staff to the business is exciting, but with COVID-19 still on everyone’s mind, we are always taking precautions across all of our office spaces. Handwashing stations, temperature checks, and social distancing continue. Slowly but surely teams are reconnecting in the office, with ‘Fast Food Fridays’ enticing many of the team back to Salisbury, Southampton, and Bristol.

Rebecca joined the Rank Your Domain Digital Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Executive in 2021. With her degree in Creative Writing, Rebecca has experience in many forms of content writing. She is passionate about all things creative, especially writing, graphics, and photography. Rebecca is very passionate about creating content and aspires to help businesses thrive online. She is eager to expand her skills in SEO, Photoshop, and InDesign to help her create engaging and visual content for her projects.
