Web Designer at Rank Your Domain

Becky joined the Rank Your Domain Web Design team in 2019 after developing her graphic design and front-end web development skills in a previous role. She is experienced using a variety of content management systems for front-end web design and development, including WordPress and Joomla!.

Becky’s artistic background aids her in her web design and graphic design projects as she brings tremendous creativity to her work. She not only works with her team to produce highly-responsive and attractive websites but can also make exceptionally engaging graphics for both print and the web.

Becky is an enthusiastic learner and is more than happy to take on new exciting projects and collaborate with a variety of teams at Rank Your Domain to deliver the best possible work for a variety of different clients.

What are your favourite things about Rank Your Domain?

I enjoy the cross-departmental collaboration and the opportunity to work with new people across a variety of projects. The modern, open plan and comfy working atmosphere is also a highlight along with the free fruit and coffee!

What does your Rank Your Domain role involve?

As a Web Designer, my role involves wireframing, designing and building websites for our clients, working closely with the development and digital marketing department to create efficient and innovative websites. I also help maintain existing websites by fixing defects and finding the best solutions to ensure that our clients' websites translate responsively and best represent their brand and online identity.

What would your dream project be?

My ideal project would be to work with a large national institution (such as a museum or cultural celebration) as I love working with people who are passionate about what they do. The project would include designing, developing and building a brand new website with a focus on user interface and experience, contemporary layout with stunning photography and a refined online identity.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking across the south coast and the New Forest, casual badminton matches, visiting places of cultural and historical interest, collecting antiques and even enjoy coding and designing in my spare time!
