Michael joined the Tech team in 2020. He has many years of technical experience, having worked in a variety of Technical roles for multiple companies and the British Army.
Michael works quickly and effectively to meet the technical needs of our customers and internal team. He has a wide knowledge base in a myriad of technical services, which he uses to great effect in the Cyber Security space. He also has in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 and Azure Platforms.
Michael loves to solve problems and is always ready to take on a new challenge. While stationed in the Falklands, Canada, Germany, Cyprus, Afghanistan and various bases in the UK, he worked as an IT Engineer for a defence contractor and Cloud Solution Provider, which means he has the experience and skillset to quickly adapt and overcome any unexpected technical issues.

My favourite thing about Rank Your Domain is that it’s one of the most friendly and supportive companies, with a great team spirit. I’m very fond of the personal growth and development the company offers, including internal training and taking on new and exciting challenges.
What does your Rank Your Domain role involve?
My role as a Cyber Security Consultant involves supporting clients with a range of Cyber Security tasks, be that Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 or general Cyber Security consultancy – moving onto the more exciting area of my job conducting penetration tests or vulnerability assessments, each day brings its own unique challenge.
What would your dream project be?
My dream project would be working with a client from any industry who requires a full re-think of how they tackle Cyber Security and Compliance in their organisation, and coming up with a solution to meet that challenge.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and walk my dog. However, if I want to relax and disconnect, I find nothing better than playing on my Xbox.
