Dave has worked as a developer at Rank Your Domain since 2015. He has many years of experience developing websites and mobiles applications (iOS and Android systems) using various coding languages and platforms.
Alongside his comprehensive knowledge and experience within development, Dave also has an interest in design, and as result, is able to collaborate well with the Design team to create the finest of websites, effectively combining function and style.
Dave is a diligent worker and always has customer service at the front of his mind to support clients – whether this is by promptly fixing bugs and errors or by helping clients effectively navigate their intranets, websites and other systems.
What are your favourite things about Rank Your Domain?
The company is not afraid of embracing new ideas and concepts to improve our workflow and also the clients’ websites/products and overall staff satisfaction. I also enjoy the free soft drinks!
What does your Rank Your Domain role involve?
My role entails developing the inner workings of websites and effectively creating the brains that manage and interact with the underlying system and data to construct the content of a website.
What would your dream project be?
I would be interested to work on a project that incorporates elements of 3D design/development, with a suitable interface that can show the 3D data to the end-user in innovative ways (for example, through WebGL, VR, AR or ready-to-print).
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In my free time, I enjoy 3D model creation, 3D printing, games development, and table top role-playing games (as part of a podcast group).
